Welcome to Our Practice

We have been established at Macquarie Shopping Centre for nearly 30 years, offering exceptional patient care to children and adults, covering a full range of services from check-ups, fillings and implants to orthopaedic / orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry and anti-wrinkle injections.

We are preferred providers for both Medibank Private and BUPA, with patients benefitting from check-ups, cleans and x-rays that incur no out of pocket costs (please check with reception staff for details).

Your Dentist Knows Best

Don’t rush when you brush!

2 minutes is the minimum to ensure your teeth are getting a thorough clean, invest in a good electric toothbrush that oscillates!

Visit your dentist once every 6 months

Regular visits to your dentist will help keep your dental hygiene in check. Ensuring that tartar is cleaned from between the teeth, reducing the chance of gum problems.

Don’t Forget to Floss!

Flossing at least once a day will keep the areas between your teeth clean and free of debris and bacteria.

Dr Ashraf Obaid

Dentist

Ash qualified in Sheffield, England in 1999 has been at the practice since 2008 and continues to build on an already established patient base. Ash has a special interest in removable prosthetics and offers a wide range of treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, orthodontic treatment and cosmetic treatment. Ash continues to expand his orthodontic knowledge and is embarking on a 2 year postgrad diploma in orthodontics in 2019.

Dr Madeleine La

Dentist

Dr Madeleine La is a friendly, compassionate dentist who attained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in Queensland. She has gained experience at dental hospitals throughout Australia including Cairns, Townsville and Tasmania. Dr Madeleine believes in a patient-centred focus and loves servicing families. Her philosophy is providing high-quality treatment and ensuring a pleasurable dental experience. Dr Madeleine believes in preventative care and teaching children the importance of oral hygiene from a young age. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with an interest in cosmetic, prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry. Dr Madeleine speaks English, Cantonese and basic Mandarin.

Dr Louise Kemp

Dentist

Dr Louise completed her initial degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in Edinburgh, graduating with First Class Honours, before earning her dental degree from the University of Aberdeen. She has since gained broad experience working in private practice across both the UK and Australia.

Louise enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has particular interests in periodontal treatment, children’s dentistry, and preventative care. She is known for her gentle, approachable manner and is highly regarded for her ability to put patients at ease, especially those who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Louise’s philosophy centres on delivering high-quality, holistic care and supporting her patients in achieving healthy, confident smiles.

Ewa Manikowska

Dental Nurse

Evie has been at the practice for nearly 20 years and is a favourite amongst patients with her sense of humour and love of all things foodie! She has a warm personality and is always making patients feel welcome and comfortable.

MHP Dental is conveniently located at Macquarie Shopping Centre. We can be easily found in the Medical precinct of the shopping centre, near Macquarie Medical Centre, MMI Radiology and BUPA. The closest car park is the Red level car park, the nearest car park entry is on Herring Road.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, MHP Dental has been well regarded for high quality and professional care in a warm environment. Serving our patients (children and adults) in a relaxed and friendly environment, offering a full range of dental services from check-ups through to cosmetic dentistry, anti-wrinkle injections and implants! We look forward to welcoming you at the practice in the near future!

In case of emergency or after hours access to a dentist, please call Baulkham Hills 7 Day Dental Centre on 9639 4165.

The friendly dentists there will attend to your immediate issue and we can then remedy things on a more permanent basis once we see you.
